Job Summary

Serve as a Collections domain and functional SME, translating business needs into functional/technical specifications and validating designs against regulatory requirements. Lead collections re-platforming and legacy-to-target data conversion, including mapping, reconciliation, mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and cutover planning. Oversee testing and readiness (handover and hypercare) and manage stakeholders, vendors, and escalation to senior leadership across regulated transformation deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as Collections process SME, covering delinquency/workflow, recoveries, write-offs, legal collections, and customer communications.
•Translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications aligned to the target collections platform and validate designs/configurations for regulatory alignment.
•Lead end-to-end conversion and data migration strategy (scope, mapping, reconciliation, validation), including mock conversions, dress rehearsals, and cutover planning.
•Oversee functional/system/integration testing coverage for collections processes and conversion edge cases, and support operational handover and hypercare readiness.
•Coordinate stakeholders and manage vendors/system integrators through status reporting, risk management, issue escalation, and dependency alignment across workstreams.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in Collections systems, platforms, or operations within banking/financial services.
•Proven experience in collections re-platforming, system replacement, or major transformation programs.
•Strong hands-on expertise in data conversion/migration for large-scale enterprise implementations.
•Demonstrated success in functional delivery leadership, managing complex dependencies, timelines, and vendor/system integrator work in regulated environments.
•Deep understanding of the Collections lifecycle and business rules, including conversion methodologies, data mapping, reconciliation, and cutover execution.
