Assist R&D engineering in developing and revising medical products by building R&D test fixtures and prototype assemblies from provided specifications. Key Responsibilities

•Build R&D test fixtures per provided specifications and provide design assistance and feedback.
•Execute test protocols with minimal supervision and provide results using prescribed documentation procedures.
•Build prototype assemblies per specifications and present test reports and design improvements to the R&D team.
•Troubleshoot complex circuits, mechanical assemblies, software functionality, or accessories with engineering direction.
•Inspect parts per engineering drawings with calipers and coordinate with vendors and machine shops on assembly and fabrication.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35 - 50 hourly

Key Requirements

•HS diploma with 6 years of experience OR a technical certificate with 3 years of experience OR an associate's degree.
•Understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles and practical knowledge for complex tasks in the job focus.
•Ability to build prototypes from schematics.
•Ability to perform rework on PWB with surface mount components.
•Ability to troubleshoot down to component level and follow semi-complex test procedures and protocols.
