Job Summary

Legal Counsel to support Alfa Laval Operation China by ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal risk across sales, distribution, manufacturing, IP, and contractual matters. Works with Group Legal and Global network to improve policies, provide training, and coordinate disputes, while ensuring export controls and sanctions compliance and cross‑department collaboration.

Job Function: Legal, Risk & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and manage business risk from a legal perspective across sales, distribution, manufacturing, development, IP, product liability, M&A, regulatory requirements, and handling of claims and litigation.
•Draft, review and negotiate complex supply, service and/or purchase contracts and bids globally, including EPC contracts, in compliance with Alfa Laval standards.
•Provide support in compliance areas such as fair competition, export controls and sanctions, in cooperation with dedicated functions.
•Cooperate closely with GSS Greater China inhouse counsels and central groups (IP, Risk & Compliance, Finance, Sustainability).
•Participate in continuous improvement of related policies, template agreements, and supporting tools; bring awareness and training on commercial contracts, governance and compliance; manage disputes with external counsels.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Law with legal professional qualification certificate.
•7-8 years of relevant legal experience; experience in multinational manufacturing companies preferred.
•Proficient in export control and international sanctions; familiar with EU trade and compliance laws.
•Fluent oral English with excellent legal English reading and writing skills.
•Able to independently handle foreign-related contracts and supply chain compliance for manufacturing.
