Key Responsibilities

  • •Under strict supervision, provide on-site supervision of the LWD process including tool preparation, data acquisition, log generation, and quality control.
  • •Learn the LWD service line job role and serve as a third man in a subordinate role while providing technical and operational expertise to the customer.
  • •Perform assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering and measurement while drilling principles.
  • •Maintain equipment inventory and supervise movement of equipment to and from the well site.
  • •Check equipment, advise repair requirements, maintain a computer database for ongoing jobs, and prepare job tickets and daily/end-of-well reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, with no previous experience required.
  • •Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude to required standards, including good communication, arithmetic, data entry, and recording skills.
  • •Ability to read and interpret formation well logs and interpret directional survey information and other well-site data.
  • •Completion of the basic M/LWD training program (skill acquired through completion of this training).
  • •Must possess relevant on- and offshore safety certificates; STEM bachelor’s preferred and must meet company test/task guideline requirements.
