Key Responsibilities

  • •Provision of acoustic consultancy services to support technical and commercial business needs.
  • •Deliver environmental acoustics and vibration investigations, including noise/vibration impact assessments, monitoring, site inspections, and mitigation.
  • •Complete noise predictions using specialized acoustic models/software and analyze/process data.
  • •Prepare technical reports for review and support technical documentation for projects.
  • •Begin building relationships with internal and external clients and seek opportunities across environmental and building acoustics projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Equivalent.
  • •12+ years of experience in Acoustics, Noise and/or Vibration within a consultancy environment.
  • •Strong working knowledge of Australian acoustic standards and guidelines and demonstrated technical skills across disciplines in Australia or New Zealand.
  • •Experience using acoustics software such as SoundPlan, CadnaA or equivalent, and mapping software such as QGIS, AutoCad or equivalent.
  • •Ability to lead projects within the discipline, monitor/manage scope across multiple projects, and prepare technical reports.
