Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the trade surveillance programme end to end, triaging and escalating potential market abuse while maintaining clear rationale for each outcome.
  • •Monitor, analyze, and report on surveillance compliance issues related to market manipulation and insider trading.
  • •Improve the programme by reviewing scenario coverage, calibrating thresholds/parameters, reducing false positives, and closing coverage gaps.
  • •Interface with trading and surveillance systems to understand data sourcing/alert generation and specify precise system changes.
  • •Prepare MI reporting, support regulatory/exchange responses, and assist with testing, control changes, and AI-assisted workflows to enhance Compliance processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • •3+ years of trade surveillance experience covering market abuse typologies across multiple asset classes.
  • •Strong knowledge of global financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • •Understanding of financial products including Equities, Equity Derivatives, and Fixed Income.
  • •Proficiency with a trade surveillance platform, plus strong Excel skills for managing large datasets.
