Job Summary

Build an AI-native software platform where autonomous agents run hardware validation campaigns, triage failures, and grow a shared knowledge base without human involvement. You’ll design and implement the LLM agent framework, RAG pipelines, MCP backend, and developer tooling within AMD’s Global Cluster Engineering organization—developing multi-agent orchestration, retrieval with hybrid search and reranking, knowledge graph integrations, and resilient distributed services.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain an AI agent orchestration layer, including multi-agent dispatch, context management, anti-hallucination guardrails, and inter-agent communication.
•Develop and improve RAG pipelines with document ingestion, chunking and embeddings, hybrid search, reranking, and knowledge graph indexing (LightRAG + Neo4j).
•Build developer experiences and web applications so engineers can interact with AI agents and validation workflows, including observability dashboards and operational tooling.
•Design and implement distributed backend systems and APIs (including event-driven architectures and microservices) powering AI workflows and platform integrations.
•Build scalable, low-latency AI services and LLM-powered developer tooling for test planning, failure triage, autonomous knowledge curation, and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Software development experience with a strong portfolio of production systems.
•Shipped real LLM-powered systems with care for grounding, evaluation, and failure modes.
•Hands-on experience building RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector databases, hybrid search, and reranking.
•Production experience with LLM tool use and multi-agent orchestration, including context management and hallucination mitigation.
•Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Java, C#, or Rust) and experience operating production-scale services.
