Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-quality MEP cost estimates and cost plans from RIBA Stage 0–5 and communicate cost implications to clients
  • •Create costs analyses using Turner & Townsend data, market intelligence, and industry trends
  • •Evaluate cost drivers, escalation, inflation and risk allowances appropriate to data centre projects
  • •Provide cost input and commercial advice on complex MEP systems and support option studies and resilience strategies
  • •Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating methodologies, tools and data

Key Requirements

  • •Strong working knowledge of MEP systems within data centre or mission-critical environments
  • •Proven experience delivering MEP estimates within a consultancy or contractor setting
  • •Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and commercial risk
  • •Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • •Desirable: experience on hyperscale or colocation data centre developments; familiarity with cost estimating software (e.g. CostX) and advanced Excel; experience with BIM-based information
