Job Summary

Support the Food & Beverage service team at One&Only The Palm Resort in Dubai by preparing the restaurant for service, welcoming guests, and assisting with taking and delivering orders. Help maintain high dining standards through mise-en-place preparation, table clearing/resetting, and coordination with kitchen and service staff. Ensure guest comfort, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, stay informed on daily updates, and communicate professionally while supporting team members and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival while maintaining a positive, energetic presence.
•Prepare all mise-en-place correctly before service and assist in serving food and beverages promptly.
•Assist with taking and delivering orders, clearing and resetting tables, and coordinating with kitchen and service staff.
•Ensure the restaurant setup, cleanliness, and equipment arrangement meet resort standards while maintaining hygiene and personal hygiene.
•Support senior team members with assigned tasks, attend training/briefings, and communicate effectively with colleagues.

Key Requirements

•6 months to 1 year of experience in a quality hotel, resort, or restaurant environment.
•Basic food and beverage knowledge and willingness to learn and grow within the team.
•Strong personal presentation and good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage politely with diverse guests.
•Supportive team-player attitude with the ability to maintain high service standards and a positive mindset.
•Good communication in English is required; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.
