Job Summary

Manage the wider estate across project sites for the Land, Estates, Environment and Permitting team. Deliver habitat creation and biodiversity enhancement plans through maintenance, monitoring, and habitat management. Support ecologists with surveys and environmental requirements, perform dust/water sampling and noise monitoring upkeep, maintain estate infrastructure, respond to incidents, and carry out site housekeeping and pest control.

Key Responsibilities

•Undertake land and estate management activities including vegetation control, grass seeding/cutting, and tree management operations.
•Implement Biodiversity Enhancement and Estates Management Plans through habitat creation, maintenance, monitoring, and management.
•Assist ecologists with ecological surveys and monitoring programmes to meet project-specific environmental requirements.
•Carry out environmental monitoring activities such as dust sampling, water sampling/monitoring, and manage site water discharges.
•Inspect, maintain, and service environmental monitoring equipment; maintain site infrastructure and respond to environmental incidents and spillages.

Key Requirements

•Desirable tickets for Tractor, Telehandler, Chainsaw and Mini Digger.
•Desirable pesticide application certificates.
•Knowledge of wildlife and habitat management.
•Experience managing areas of special designation including SPA’s, SSSI’s and Ancient Woodland (desirable).
•Ability to work across all project sites as required; driving license is an advantage.
