Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage day-to-day field service operations for installations, delivery, and deployment within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • •Perform cabling work including measuring, installing, and pulling wires through conduits; evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair cabling infrastructure systems.
  • •Install, configure, test, and maintain network assets in network closets and data center cabinets, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • •Complete Move, Add, Change (MAC) requests within defined service levels and provide hardware break-fix services.
  • •Maintain required documentation, coordinate with internal teams to complete work orders, and respond to emergency situations/on-call needs to meet SLAs.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle able to carry a 6-foot ladder.
  • •Must have a working smartphone and basic cabling/technician tools.
  • •Proficient with cable testers and fiber testers, and understand cable patching processes and procedures (including 66 Block/110 Block cross connects).
  • •5 years of experience in data communications, plus basic knowledge of local and wide area networking and network terminology.
  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) required; must be able to safely lift heavy objects and communicate technical issues to customers.
