Job Summary

Lead India logistics operations across import/export, external warehouse management, and India Customs and Trade Compliance for DSM-Firmenich business units. Drive cost-efficient logistics solutions, continuous improvement, and gross margin optimization through in-force Free Trade Agreements. Own relevant logistics processes in the ERP (Order to Cash, Purchase to Pay), manage internal/external stakeholders to meet service levels, and ensure safe, compliant execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and implement cost-efficient logistics solutions to enable business growth and customer intimacy.
•Drive continuous improvement across logistics to deliver value in the business value chain.
•Leverage in-force Free Trade Agreements between countries/regions to maximize gross margin.
•Own logistics processes in the ERP for Order to Cash and Purchase to Pay workflows.
•Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure logistics services meet Service Level Agreements and execute safely and compliantly.

Key Requirements

•10+ years in logistics operations in a multinational environment, preferably in food, beverage, pharma, chemical, or allied products industries.
•College or university graduate; MBA or supply chain management master preferred.
•Customs certification required.
•Direct management of logistics cost control responsibilities.
•Excellent communication (English is a must) with team building skills and experience measuring KPIs and holding teams accountable for results.
