Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Engineering Liaison: Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the construction yard to resolve technical discrepancies. Translate complex design intent into actionable field instructions.
•Technical Query (TQ) Management: Review, validate, and process Technical Queries and RFIs; coordinate with lead discipline engineers for AFC-impacting changes.
•Red-Line Markup (RLM) Oversight: Provide red-line markup, review and approve markups, ensure field changes meet client requirements and are captured for As-Built.
•Design Validation: Conduct walk-downs of electrical and instrument systems to ensure installation matches AFC documentation.
•Vendor Interface: Coordinate with package vendors to ensure field modifications comply with SIL ratings.

Key Requirements

•B.Sc. in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering; essential education requirement.
•6+ years in oil & gas, with interface or engineering experience on offshore projects.
•Familiar with international codes and standards (IEC 60079, ISA) and client standards (QGESS, Shell DEPs).
•High proficiency in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
•Ability to interpret complex loop drawings, wiring schematics, interconnection diagrams, and hazardous area classifications.
