Job Summary

Lead end-to-end UX/UI work for complex, content-rich websites: run discovery with stakeholders, synthesize research into actionable UX and content strategy, and create information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and polished visual designs. Serve as a senior creative voice in pre-sales, contributing design and strategy to proposals and client conversations. Share Kanopi’s point of view through thought leadership such as webinars, blog posts, and case studies.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead project discovery by conducting stakeholder interviews, translating research into actionable design direction, and synthesizing user research and testing into insights.
•Develop information architecture and content strategy, including navigation and sitemap strategy, content audits and gap analysis, and tone/voice/taxonomy guidance.
•Produce UX/UI design deliverables such as wireframes, page templates, interactive prototypes, full-fidelity visual comps, and UI component libraries or responsive design systems.
•Act as a senior creative voice in sales and marketing by uncovering client goals and constraints during pre-sales, and contributing design/strategy to proposals and project approaches.
•Create and share thought leadership through webinars, blog posts, case studies, conference ideas, or educational content.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 50 - 70 hourly

Key Requirements

•Senior-level, hands-on UX/UI design experience for complex, content-rich websites with a portfolio showing work from discovery and strategy through high-fidelity visual design.
•Strong visual design craft including layout, typography, hierarchy, responsive design, and accessible UI patterns.
•Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping, design systems, component workflows, and client-ready presentation files.
•Advanced knowledge of UX strategy, content strategy, information architecture, and content experience principles.
•Demonstrated experience in a creative agency environment with strong communication skills for designers, developers, and clients.
