Job Summary

Lead Controls Field Technicians responsible for programming, checkout, graphics, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems. Train and develop technicians, provide technical guidance, and support hiring decisions with the Area Controls Manager. Coordinate scheduling and dispatch, maintain vehicle/service records, and partner with Project Managers to prepare for on-site installations and repairs, while evaluating safety needs and helping implement safety procedures.

•Supervise and train/develop Controls Field Technicians, providing technical advice and guidance.
•Assist with scheduling, organizing, and dispatching technicians; collaborate with the Area Controls Manager for hiring/firing decisions.
•Maintain vehicles and keep records of service manuals, including scheduling and completing repair and maintenance services.
•Partner with Project Managers to prepare for on-site installations and repairs by reviewing building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work.
•Evaluate area safety needs/requirements, provide feedback to technicians, and support implementation of safety policies, procedures, and training.

Key Requirements

•Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Minimum five (5) years of experience in HVAC and Building Automation.
•Working knowledge of HVAC products, systems, electronics, and pneumatic controls.
•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations as specified.
