Senior AI Engineering Manager

Lead and scale a cross-functional AI engineering team to design, train, and deploy ML models (including large language models, personalization, and recommender systems) that power Duolingo’s language learning features. Guide feature engineering, data training pipelines, fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to align model outputs with company objectives, drive strategic decisions, and foster a healthy, inclusive engineering culture.
