Job Summary

Lead a functional team of test engineers within the Integrated Manufacturing Center to drive product test integrity and improve test processes. Prioritize work to meet customer needs, coordinate resources, manage staffing, and interface with strategic make center personnel. Own technical quality, product compliance, timecard approval, and hands-on support on the factory floor, while developing engineers through training, coaching, and performance management. Troubleshoot manufacturing and test systems and lead root-cause corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a functional team of test engineers to drive product test integrity, improve test processes, and influence testability in product design.
•Prioritize tasks to meet customer needs; coordinate resources, manage staffing levels, and interface with strategic make center personnel and leaders.
•Train, coach, mentor, and develop employees; ensure engineers meet Factory and Manufacturing Engineering standards.
•Provide technical oversight for engineering tasks, product compliance, and timecard approval.
•Develop sustaining solutions, troubleshoot manufacturing and test systems, and lead root cause and corrective action; participate in or lead improvement projects.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of related experience.
•Experience leading people/teams.
•Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
•Demonstrated technical test engineering leadership experience with strong knowledge of manufacturing and test processes.
