Job Summary

Join the Autodesk CER (Customer Error Report) team in Vancouver to reinvigorate CER systems and services using modern web, cloud, and data analysis technologies. As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll help shape the team’s future by deploying and optimizing CER services, leading product testing (test strategies, cases, defect tracking, quality and risk analysis), and building automated testing tools and frameworks. You’ll collaborate with software, DevOps, and product design teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with a tech team on product testing, including requirements analysis, design review, test strategies, test case execution, defect tracking, and quality and risk analysis.
•Develop automated testing tools and test cases aligned to business line needs.
•Deploy, operate, manage, optimize, and monitor CER services to ensure stability for Autodesk products.
•Work closely with software developers, DevOps engineers, and product designers across worldwide engineering sites.
•Define and analyze industry best practices for cloud applications and propose cloud optimizations to improve reliability, performance, scalability, and resiliency.

Salary: 84,000 - 123,200 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of professional experience as a QA Engineer.
•BS/MS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent subjects).
•Good understanding of software testing fundamentals, including test design, defect lifecycle, root cause analysis, and quality risk assessment.
•Familiarity with test automation concepts and interest in developing or maintaining automated test frameworks/cases.
•Experience with programming languages such as Python, Groovy, or Shell.
