Job Summary

Lead and develop the APAC (excluding China) regional regulatory affairs structure to support market access and lifecycle compliance for hearing medical devices, including implantable devices. Serve as the primary liaison between APAC local RA teams and global regulatory functions, building regional capability and ensuring alignment with global product development, certification, launches, registrations, renewals, and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and further develop the APAC (excluding China) regional regulatory affairs structure for current and future business needs.
•Build and strengthen the APAC RA team capability to cover key markets and regulatory requirements.
•Act as the primary interface between APAC RA representatives and global RA functions, and coordinate with Launch PM and regional commercial teams.
•Collect, consolidate, and communicate local regulatory requirements, market access needs, and regulatory updates to regional and global stakeholders.
•Oversee regional readiness for product launches, registrations, renewals, regulatory changes, and support compliance activities including audits and authority interactions.

Key Requirements

•University degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, or a related technical field.
•Advanced qualification in Regulatory Affairs or Quality Management (preferred).
•Several years of experience in Regulatory Affairs within the medical device or other regulated industry.
•Experience with multi-country regulatory environments in APAC.
•Experience in leadership roles and/or regional coordination and interacting with regulatory authorities.
