Key Responsibilities

  • •Handle day-to-day tax responsibilities and report directly to the US Tax Director.
  • •Prepare tax computations and work papers for partnership tax filings and help automate parts of the tax function.
  • •Work with external tax service providers and review partnership tax compliance prepared by outside advisors.
  • •Respond to requests and notices from taxing authorities and coordinate ASC 740 analyses for the funds.
  • •Research tax treatment of complex financial instruments and corporate actions, and assist with estate planning/tax matters for the family office.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • •4-8 years of relevant hedge fund/partnership tax experience, including calculating taxable income and partnership tax allocations.
  • •US tax return filing experience (e.g., 1065, 1120F, 8858, 8865, 5471, 7004, 1042).
  • •FATCA/CRS filing and review experience and securities tax analysis (dividends, corporate actions, 1256 products, cross-border transactions).
  • •Strong Excel skills and experience leveraging technology to improve the tax process (Alteryx, PowerBi, Tableau, UiPath).
