Job Summary

Senior software engineer on the Real-Time Streaming Platform, building scalable streaming services with Java, Python, and Go. You’ll design data pipelines with Kafka, Flink, Spark, and Spark, operate across Kubernetes and multiple clouds, owning initiatives end-to-end to enable real-time security analytics at petabyte scale for CrowdStrike customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain streaming microservices in Java and Go that provide real-time data processing capabilities to internal teams
•Build and optimize Apache Flink and Apache Spark based data pipelines running on Kubernetes infrastructure
•Design event-driven systems leveraging Kafka for high-throughput, low-latency message streaming
•Take end-to-end ownership of technical initiatives, from design through deployment and operational support across AWS, GCP, OCI, and on-premises data centers
•Develop RESTful APIs and SDKs that enable other teams to easily integrate with streaming platform capabilities

Key Requirements

•8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of building production systems
•Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

•Experience with Apache Kafka or similar distributed messaging systems (Pulsar, RabbitMQ, etc.)
•Hands-on experience with Apache Flink and/or Apache Spark for stream and batch processing
