Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate air compressors, boilers, and auxiliary equipment to furnish air, steam for power, and heat/processing.
  • •Follow scheduled power needs, checklists, and established procedures.
  • •Start/shut down equipment and change over boilers as directed.
  • •Regulate firing and output to safely meet system needs.
  • •Clean boilers and perform general maintenance, including assisting with equipment replacement in and around the boiler room.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •National Institute for Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers Inc. (NIULPE) or American Society of Power Engineers (ASPE) Fourth Class license, or 4 years of equivalent experience.
  • •Excellent oral and written communication.
  • •Ability to work independently.
  • •Ability to work as part of a team.
