Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and build continuous deployment and rollout infrastructure to safely ship changes across Snowflake’s multi-cloud production environment.
  • •Build platform capabilities for progressive delivery (staged rollouts, canarying, automated health checks, rollback controls, and guardrails).
  • •Improve engineering velocity by removing friction from release pipelines and replacing manual workflows with durable platform abstractions and automation.
  • •Develop internal platforms for release orchestration and Kubernetes application rollouts, enabling broader production change workflows.
  • •Implement and evolve deployment methodologies (GitOps-inspired workflows, infrastructure as code, policy-driven automation) and build AI-assisted agentic release workflows using rollout health signals.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 287,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience building or operating continuous deployment, release engineering, or production change platforms at scale.
  • •Experience with Kubernetes-based systems and safely rolling changes across distributed production environments.
  • •Strong software engineering skills in Golang, Java, C++, or similar systems languages, plus Python or Bash (or similar scripting).
  • •Experience with distributed systems, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
  • •Experience with observability platforms (Prometheus, Datadog, or Grafana) to evaluate system and rollout health.
