Key Responsibilities

•Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis on LOA data (by type, department, and approval/rejection) to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.
•Develop recurring LOA reports and dashboards for HR leaders, department managers, and executives, and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
•Evaluate and support LOA policy optimization by analyzing metrics and employee feedback to improve policy effectiveness and adoption.
•Partner with payroll teams to ensure LOA data integrates with payroll processes and supports accurate paid/unpaid calculations.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with HR business partners, managers, and tech teams to improve LOA tracking in HRIS (e.g., workflows and custom fields).

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Masters in Data Science, Statistics, Human Resources Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.
•Proficiency with data querying tools (SQL, HQL) to extract LOA data from HRIS/payroll systems.
•Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros).
•Basic knowledge of statistical analysis (trend analysis, correlation, forecasting) and data cleaning techniques.
•Understanding LOA types (sick, parental, medical, unpaid, statutory) and relevant labor laws (e.g., FMLA and local statutory leave regulations).
