Job Summary

Own financial analysis for Headway’s Strategic Finance GTM team, applying a marketplace operating lens to forecasting, retention analysis, and strategic decision-making. Build and maintain operating models for provider and patient economics, lead deep-dive root-cause analyses, and develop dashboards and executive materials. Partner cross-functionally with product, growth, and operations teams to drive appointment volume, retention, and long-run unit economics for durable marketplace growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead deep-dive analyses to identify root causes of marketplace performance, including monitoring trends and surfacing early signals across provider utilization and patient retention.
•Build and maintain functional operating models for Provider and Patient, and drive ongoing budgeting and forecasting processes for the function.
•Conduct deep dives to diagnose business problems via root cause analysis and develop strategies to accelerate progress and scale successful behaviors.
•Partner cross-functionally to surface insights and support strategic decision-making across product, growth, and operations.
•Develop dashboards, reporting, and executive-ready materials to communicate progress against goals.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 152,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of professional experience, ideally across financial services (investment banking, consulting, private equity) and highly analytical roles in a fast-growing tech company (strategic finance).
•Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets (advanced formulas) and Looker (or similar BI tools), with comfort working with large datasets.
•Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to financial data analysis.
•Ability to use AI tools in daily work to accelerate analysis and improve models.
•Clear communication of complex insights to different audiences (finance vs. business/product partners) in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
