Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct repair and failure analysis on AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR equipment in Fleet Concentration Areas (FCAs).
  • •Provide subject matter expertise on AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR combat system equipment.
  • •Be familiar with legacy SONAR and modern AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 SONAR equipment.
  • •Analyze failures and faults and provide corrective solutions to implement equipment repair.
  • •Conduct testing and restoration activities as required.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of related experience in combat systems equipment maintenance/repair.
  • •US Citizenship required.
  • •Possess Secret clearance and be able to obtain Secret clearance.
  • •Work as a subject matter expert on AN/SQQ-89(V) SONAR combat system equipment, including legacy and AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 systems.
  • •Skills in analytical thinking and combat systems troubleshooting.
