Job Summary

Create and refine structural design for heavy engineering and mining machinery within Corporate Units and Research & Development. You will analyze client inputs, develop design concepts for welded structures and bolted joints, and produce 2D drawings and detailed 3D models. Manage BOM changes and change notices through PLM tools (Creo, Windchill, Teamcenter), select compatible components, and provide technical support by collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze project inputs to understand client requirements and plan/execute work for quality and timely delivery.
•Develop structural design concepts for welded structures and bolted joints using engineering calculations and validations.
•Create and refine 2D drawings and 3D models using Creo and Windchill, managing BOM changes and change notices in Teamcenter.
•Select and validate supplier components for compatibility and performance per engineering standards.
•Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to handle inquiries, provide technical support, and troubleshoot design challenges.
