Key Responsibilities

  • •Process FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loans by reviewing and verifying required loan documentation and data.
  • •Analyze financial and numerical materials to validate income, assets, credit, appraisal, title, and insurance documents for underwriting and program compliance.
  • •Maintain a timely and compliant pipeline by prioritizing and monitoring daily workflow to meet internal and external service level agreements.
  • •Update fees based on preliminary Closing Disclosure, corrected documents, and change requests, and ensure redisclosure changes are accurately notated in the loan origination system.
  • •Contact borrowers and serve as a liaison between origination, underwriters, relators, and borrowers throughout the mortgage process.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED
  • •Minimum 1 year of residential mortgage processing experience or equivalent mortgage operations role (Processor, Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Officer, Closer, etc.)
  • •Working product knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional and other loan programs (e.g., Jumbo, down payment assistance, bond programs)
  • •Experience with automated underwriting, including Fannie/Freddie (CONV/FHA/VA/RD)
  • •Demonstrated working knowledge of federal and state guidelines and regulations (e.g., RESPA, TILA, HMDA, TRID, Reg B)
