Key Responsibilities

  • •Support BHS operations & maintenance supervisors and control room operators in meeting departmental goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day BHS operations, reporting and escalating operational non-conformities to management.
  • •Ensure compliance with airport policies, procedures, standards, and legal regulations, including safety and HSE requirements.
  • •Monitor shift allocation and plan baggage handling resources, conducting routine and random inspections of the baggage handling system.
  • •Implement contingency procedures during major system stoppages and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve operational issues while preparing daily, weekly, and breakdown reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Operations or a related field.
  • •Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in baggage system operations and ramp operations.
  • •Sound knowledge of baggage handling systems and airport operations.
  • •Knowledge of GCAA regulations and IATA procedures related to baggage operations.
  • •Understanding of safety, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
