Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise daily operations of the anatomic pathology laboratory to meet staffing, workflow, and turnaround time targets.
  • •Oversee technical processes including specimen accessioning, gross examination support, histology processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, special stains, IHC, and cytology preparation.
  • •Ensure proper specimen handling, identification, labeling, fixation, storage, and disposal in compliance with policies and regulations.
  • •Monitor and improve quality indicators, error rates, and turnaround times, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • •Supervise, mentor, and support lab staff, coordinating scheduling/coverage and participating in hiring, training, competency assessment, and performance evaluations.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5–7 years of progressive Anatomic Pathology experience.
  • •Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • •Minimum 1 year of experience in GCC (preferred).
  • •Expert knowledge of anatomic pathology laboratory practices and workflows.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory or a related field.
