Job Summary

Process daily settlements across domestic, regional, and international markets for equities, funds, fixed income, ETFs, and securities lending/short selling. Validate client and sub-custodian instructions, ensure matching and timely settlement, and handle cash/FX settlement, reconciliation, and SWIFT instruction workflows. Coordinate with brokers, depositories, issuers, regulators, and internal teams to resolve queries, meet KPIs/KRIs, and support system upgrades, SLAs, and risk controls to deliver accurate client service.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and process settlement activities across domestic, regional, and international markets for multiple security products, ensuring client service delivery to international standards.
•Handle complex settlement transactions by receiving and validating client and sub-custodian instructions, ensuring matching and timely settlement.
•Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders (clients, counter parties, markets, sub-custodians, brokers, issuers, agents, paying agents, regulators) and respond to queries with settlement information aligned to market rules.
•Perform cash/FX settlement and position/cash management activities, including validation, reconciliation, escalation of mismatches/issues, and ensuring appropriate accounting entries and vouchers.
•Support project work (system upgrades/changes, processing enhancements, new client SLAs/SLDs, and off-hours testing) while adhering to quality control, compliance, and risk controls.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or 5 years related work experience).
•5+ years related experience in security services and/or back-office operations (e.g., securities settlements and corporate actions).
•Solid understanding of security services operations and accounting activity related to security services.
•Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
•Preferred: experience in securities functions such as settlement, client services, corporate actions, data maintenance/billing, or custody account opening.
