Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate DevOps priorities into execution by removing blockers, surfacing risks early, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • •Lead technical design through infrastructure and reliability/platform engineering design reviews in partnership with the Head of DevOps.
  • •Own and improve the live Disaster Recovery program, including coordinating recurring DR exercises and driving continuous improvement of RPO/RTO.
  • •Stay hands-on by reviewing infrastructure changes and code, troubleshooting production systems, and prototyping solutions when needed.
  • •Grow the team by coaching engineers, raising technical standards, supporting hiring and onboarding, and enabling strong operational discipline.
  • •Champion automation via Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, CI/CD, and self-service tooling to reduce manual operations.
  • •Embed security and compliance with the Security and Compliance team to meet regulatory, audit, and governance requirements.
  • •Use AI effectively by helping teams use agentic coding tools responsibly to improve quality and velocity.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years across DevOps, Infrastructure, SRE, or Platform Engineering, including leading engineers as a team lead or Engineering Manager.
  • •Deep Linux and networking fundamentals (processes, memory, storage, TCP/IP, DNS, routing).
  • •Kubernetes in production: design, operations, and troubleshooting.
  • •Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Pulumi, plus CI/CD and GitOps as default working practices.
  • •System design and production troubleshooting depth, including disaster recovery and observability/incident response with clear postmortems.
