Job Summary

Detect and monitor escalated threats and suspicious activity across enterprise and development environments. Manage prevention and resolution of security breaches, perform access management and security audit schedule reviews, and triage security alerts with proper escalation and notifications. Coordinate service requests through isolation and resolution of infrastructure faults, communicate response and root-cause findings to stakeholders, and maintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Work with a global Cyber Security team.

Key Responsibilities

•Detect and monitor escalated threats and suspicious activity across servers, networks, appliances, and supporting infrastructure.
•Manage prevention and resolution of security breaches and initiate incident and problem management processes.
•Perform access management activities, and execute access reviews and controls/testing to identify security weaknesses.
•Manage 1st-level triaging of security alerts, events, and notifications, including escalation to internal/external teams.
•Log and coordinate service requests through resolution, while identifying and escalating IT infrastructure faults and communicating status and root-cause analysis to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
•SANS GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) or an equivalent security certification preferred.
•SANS GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA) or an equivalent certification preferred.
•SANS GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or an equivalent certification preferred.
•Seasoned experience in technology information security, including SIEM and IPS technologies, plus Wireshark or tcpdump for traffic analysis.
