Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as finance business partner to Product and Customer Support leadership, owning budgets and identifying risks, trade-offs, and reallocation opportunities early.
  • •Own the annual operating plan including headcount and hiring plans, vendor and program spend, and quarterly reforecasts.
  • •Run monthly close, accruals, and variance analysis, explaining budget vs actuals and providing forward-looking implications.
  • •Build portfolio-level product investment and unit economics views to guide roadmap funding, including cost of revenue and product margin.
  • •Create cost-to-serve analytics (support cost by account/segment) and business cases for new product investments, packaging, and monetization changes.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, product finance, investment banking, or consulting, including ownership of forecasting or modeling used by others.
  • •Experience owning or partnering on an operating expense budget with a non-finance organization on spend decisions.
  • •Strong modeling skills for driver-based forecasts and operating expense/headcount models.
  • •Working knowledge of software/subscription economics (e.g., ARR, NRR, ARPA, expansion, gross margin) ideally in a usage-based business.
  • •SQL proficiency and comfort working with large, complex datasets to produce recommendations for Product, Support, and senior leadership.
