Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with technicians and mechanics to repair and maintain equipment, diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.
  • •Independently perform audits, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components in the fulfillment center.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs following safety and quality procedures, and provide solutions to mechanical and technical/control issues.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair key fulfillment center components, including participating in cleaning conveyor systems and maintenance areas as needed.
  • •Complete work orders and required documents; assist with inventory of company-supplied tools and be prepared to work at heights of 40ft or more.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of related experience in mechanical troubleshooting, technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and/or installation.
  • •Strong mechanical and technical issue analysis and resolution skills.
  • •Electrical background including low voltage controls and PLC experience.
  • •Experience with conveyor and/or sortation systems.
  • •Ability to follow safety procedures including lock-out/tag-out, and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 75 pounds; climbing stairs; standing/walking for extended periods).
