Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the underwriting process for all credit requests, working with Analysts, Associates, and Relationship Managers to evaluate risk and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • •Oversee credit-related responsibilities, including financial statement spreading/validation and risk rating assessment with periodic relationship reviews.
  • •Lead credit approvals (new customers, modifications, renewals, increases) and identify key risks, mitigants, and policy exceptions.
  • •Direct and manage portfolio reviews, portfolio reporting, and analytics including grade migration, past-dues, exceptions, and coming-due maturities.
  • •Validate covenant compliance and manage post-approval modifications; provide client management including contact meetings and site visits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commercial Banking or an equivalent/relevant program.
  • •8+ years’ experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking with formal credit training.
  • •Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • •Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • •Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) to produce reports, memos, and presentations.
