Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead complex category strategies and sourcing engagements from strategy development through implementation.
  • •Conduct all phases of highly complex acquisitions, including SOW consulting, RFP creation, supplier qualification, proposal evaluation, and negotiation of pricing and contract terms.
  • •Interpret contract provisions and advise on strategic/complex contract risk; coach and mentor junior procurement on contract risk mitigation.
  • •Lead cross-functional teams to design innovative sourcing plans and solutions that achieve client strategy through third-party deployments.
  • •Collaborate with Legal and stakeholders to gather requirements/specifications, resolve escalated contract issues, and ensure compliant, consistent procurement experiences.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • •8 years of experience in complex procurement strategy (planning, sourcing, and/or solutioning), including 6 years managing complex supplier relationships and/or contract negotiations in a highly regulated industry.
  • •Exemplary experience designing end-to-end procurement strategies and a demonstrated track record leading sustainable strategic sourcing.
  • •Advanced knowledge of procurement policies, laws, and regulations, including experience coaching and/or mentoring procurement professionals.
  • •Progressive experience leading cross-functional teams or projects with strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
