Job Summary

Lead a production team at a fast-paced dry mix concrete manufacturing facility in Memphis. Monitor key performance measures, budgets, safety, production flow, and material costs while driving bottom-line results. Oversee maintenance and preventative maintenance, inventory control, quality standards and quality control programs, and transportation/logistics. Ensure compliance with SOX rules, local and federal environmental regulations, and maintain a strong culture of health, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and schedule production activities and supervise the production process to drive bottom-line results.
•Oversee equipment maintenance, manage downtime, and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
•Manage inventory control through counts and audits.
•Estimate production costs and maintain high quality standards, including implementing quality control programs.
•Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations, and SOX rules; maximize transportation/logistics and coordinate with other departments to execute organizational goals.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of ten years of progressive related experience and/or training (or an equivalent education/experience combination).
•Prior P&L experience.
•Experience in planning and negotiating, with strong organizational skills.
•Strong leadership skills while maintaining a team atmosphere.
•Solid computer skills and written/oral communication.
