Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead strategic planning workstreams for key assortment initiatives (e.g., Tourism, Engraving), translating performance and market signals into recommendations and next steps.
  • •Validate market needs through performance analysis, competitor checks, and store visits; identify opportunities and risks across market, store, product, stock, assortment, and execution.
  • •Design and maintain reusable reporting views and planning tools across weekly trading, cycles, strategic initiatives, and EOSS for consistent definitions and efficient refresh routines.
  • •Build and maintain cluster-level assortment views for newness/NPI decisions, and run cycle post-mortems to guide how future cycles are bought, shaped, forecasted, and prioritized.
  • •Own EOSS readiness through product-range reviews, forecasts, discontinued-item analysis, scenario planning, discount strategy recommendations, and target monitoring; partner on execution alignment and coach the Working Student.

Key Requirements

  • •At least five years of relevant experience in merchandise planning, assortment planning, buying, or category management within retail, fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG (ideally omnichannel or global vertical retail).
  • •Strong analytical and number-driven approach: structure complex business questions, define analytical approaches, and turn findings into commercially relevant recommendations.
  • •Ability to work confidently with large data sets, identify what matters most, and communicate insights simply and decision-ready.
  • •Comfort in a fast-paced retail environment with ambiguity and shifting priorities, including independently prioritizing topics with the greatest commercial impact.
  • •Preferred education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
