Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and develop the Texas electrical engineering team to deliver building engineering projects.
  • •Design electrical systems including power distribution, power generation, energy storage, lighting, and fire alarm for multiple project types.
  • •Plan design work, estimate costs and schedules, and assign design duties to junior staff across projects.
  • •Coordinate design and schedule with architectural, structural, mechanical, technology teams and equipment suppliers.
  • •Lead client meetings, maintain client relations, and identify new business opportunities while ensuring quality and completeness of engineering design.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or related field plus eight (8) years of related design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • •12+ years of engineering experience in the commercial building design and the construction industry
  • •Current Professional Engineer license in the state of Texas or ability to gain reciprocity
  • •5+ years of experience as the primary engineering interface with multiple clients either as a project manager or as the engineering lead
