Job Summary

Provide strategic legal support for dnata Airport Operations globally within Group Legal, advising internal client departments on corporate, M&A, joint venture, and commercial contract matters. Lead end-to-end commercial contracting for airport operations and assist with global M&A/JV transactions, including drafting, negotiation, structuring, and due diligence. Support RFPs and tender activity, advise senior management on legal risk, and coordinate external legal counsel, working closely with commercial, finance, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a primary legal adviser/point of contact for dnata Airport Operations, providing end-to-end commercial contracting and Group-wide M&A/JV support across multiple jurisdictions.
•Support and lead (if required) negotiation, drafting, review, structuring and execution of complex commercial contracts for airport operations and associated businesses.
•Provide legal support for RFPs, tenders and bid processes, including government/public-sector tenders and advice on legal risk and compliance.
•Advise on and manage M&A and JV transactions, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and drafting/negotiation of share purchase, shareholders’ and joint venture agreements.
•Advise senior management on legal risk and risk mitigation, monitor relevant domestic/international law changes, and manage/coordinate external legal counsel globally.

Key Requirements

•Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience, with demonstrated strength in commercial contracts, ideally in a multinational or operationally intensive environment, including M&A and joint ventures.
•Bachelor’s degree in Law (or equivalent); a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
•Experience advising on cross-border transactions and working with international stakeholders and external counsel.
•Strong command of English (written and spoken), since all legal work and communications are conducted in English.
