Key Responsibilities

  • •Engage daily with Operations and Engineering to facilitate problem-solving and effective corrective action.
  • •Evaluate and control quality variation using statistical techniques; perform root cause analysis, CAPA, process validation, and supplier quality integration tasks.
  • •Own quality procedures and corrective actions, including supplier quality aspects for new products and new supplier approvals.
  • •Support DFMEA & PFMEA processes and create control plans for manufacturing processes with embedded process controls/error-proofing; support NCMR root-cause analysis and disposition.
  • •Define, establish, implement, train, and monitor quality plans and inspection requirements; perform or lead measurement systems analysis (MSA) and PPAP activities; drive continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen/Lean, First Pass Yield, DPMO, Scrap % metrics, CPK/PPK) and ensure ISO compliance via audits as required.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering or Statistics preferred.
  • •5+ years’ experience in manufacturing and quality.
  • •Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and/or CQE equivalent training and certification preferred.
  • •Knowledge of gaging and inspection techniques, including GD&T.
  • •Proficiency in problem-solving and corrective action processes (8D, CAPA, 5Y, DMAIC) and improvement tools (SPC, FMEA, DOE, TQM/Lean, PPAP, CPK, etc.).
