Job Summary

Safely and efficiently operate transfer and/or dump trucks (with and without pup trailers and tarping systems) to deliver aggregates and asphalt to residential and commercial locations. Provide customer-centric service while following CRH safety policies to protect employees, customers, and the traveling public. Maintain accurate time and material records and complete essential delivery-related tasks such as maneuvering/backing with a pup, radio communication, and connecting/disconnecting trailers.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pups) and related equipment thoroughly and correctly.
•Operate equipment safely and efficiently while following CRH safety policies.
•Keep accurate time and material records.
•Follow verbal and written instructions and understand different types and sizes of aggregates.
•Maneuver and back with a pup trailer; communicate via radio; connect and disconnect pup trailers.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
•Must possess a valid state CDL Class A with double/triple and air brake endorsements.
•Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
•Incident-free driving record preferred.
•Ability to communicate effectively using a two-way radio and follow verbal and written instructions.
