Key Responsibilities

  • •Install telematics systems and devices on vehicles and construction/heavy equipment, including customer assets.
  • •Operate machinery at times during installation for testing purposes.
  • •Remove and replace ignition systems without a custom keypad/controller and integrate communication between keypad and telematics.
  • •Handle installation scenarios from basic wiring (power/ignition/ground) to complex harness setups involving CAN network access.
  • •Travel to client sites or EquipmentShare rental yards across the region and troubleshoot issues to resolve problems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools; experience in a related field such as electrician, HVAC tech, or car audio installer.
  • •Own tools (a few specialty tools will be provided) and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
  • •Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check (and a 10-panel drug screen for safety-sensitive work).
  • •Be able to travel within a 250-mile radius for up to a week at a time and perform physical job tasks (drive, maneuver, lift 25+ lb).
