Job Summary

Assist with installation and qualification of manufacturing systems, and troubleshoot day-to-day production issues. Identify and implement improvements to throughput, yield, and product performance, analyze yield excursions, and support process control using SPC alarms and the Process Control Plan. Execute planned experiments, collect and analyze data, maintain gauges, and update technical documentation. Train production associates and coordinate with manufacturing engineers and suppliers to complete assigned projects.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED required, plus one of: Associates degree in a technical discipline, 2+ years machine/mechanic experience, one year First Solar technical experience, or six months’ experience as a Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician.
•Safety-first mindset.
•General electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge.
•Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the manufacturing line.
•Self-directed ability to work with minimal supervision, with good written and oral English communication and capability to handle both administrative and technical tasks.
