Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in installation and qualification of manufacturing systems.
  • •Troubleshoot day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems and identify system improvements.
  • •Respond to SPC process control alarms and bring processes back into control per the Process Control Plan.
  • •Execute planned process experiments and collect, analyze, and report experimental and tool/performance data.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED required, plus one of: Associates degree in a technical discipline, 2+ years machine/mechanic experience, one year First Solar technical experience, or six months’ experience as a Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician.

  • •General electrical/electronic and mechanical knowledge.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems on the manufacturing line.
  • •Self-directed ability to work with minimal supervision, with good written and oral English communication and capability to handle both administrative and technical tasks.
