Job Summary

Support a UK-wide Freight and Logistics group, providing day-to-day assistance across multiple projects—from policy and strategy to infrastructure and urban logistics—while developing bespoke approaches, analysing complex problems, and translating insights into clear reports. Collaborate in a small, mentor-focused team across Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool offices, with opportunities toward professional accreditation and chartership.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Provide day-to-day support across a diverse portfolio of freight and logistics projects.
•Assist with freight policy and strategy development, aligned with national, regional and local policy frameworks.
•Support freight infrastructure studies and business cases to improve the freight system (routes, parking, terminals, rail terminals).
•Help deliver urban freight solutions balancing placemaking, highway safety and public realm priorities.
•Assist with logistics planning and decarbonisation initiatives for zero-emission freight and logistics fleets.
