Job Summary

Serve guests food and beverages in a high-volume, fast-paced venue environment while maintaining safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service. Maintain atmosphere control, follow opening/closing and venue procedures, and handle cash and payments. Build repeat business through friendly guest interaction, menu suggestions, and accurate drink preparation. Occasionally work special events and welcome Foundation Room members, executives, and VIPs.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve guests food and beverages in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
•Follow House of Blues safety, health, sanitation, and alcohol service policies; check IDs and refuse service to intoxicated guests.
•Maintain atmosphere control by circulating during shift and follow opening/closing procedures with the manager on duty.
•Handle cash and payment processing for cash and credit transactions using point-of-sale systems.
•Suggestively sell menu items, take and deliver orders promptly, and prepare beverages to standard recipes and venue specifications.

Key Requirements

•Must possess U.S. work authorization that does not require employer visa sponsorship.
•Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
•Work well in a high-volume, sometimes stressful team environment.
•Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance and be punctual with flexible nights/weekends availability.
•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification (or equivalent); paid training will be provided.
