Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement AI agent features and extend existing agents with new capabilities, including context management for long conversations and large codebases.
  • •Integrate and evaluate multiple LLM providers (OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini), quantify performance, and incorporate improvements via testing.
  • •Enable safe tool use and workflow orchestration where agents can call external tools/APIs (e.g., searches, database queries, fetching info) using frameworks like Vercel AI SDK and LangGraph.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver production-ready AI features that are efficient, maintainable, and monitored in deployment.
  • •Collect/curate datasets from agent responses, analyze failures and success signals, and continuously improve prompts, agents, and workflows using systematic evaluation and experiments.

Key Requirements

  • •Familiarity with TypeScript and willingness to work in it daily since the stack is TypeScript-based.
  • •Hands-on experience building applications or systems powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), with understanding of capabilities and limitations.
  • •Deep knowledge of prompt engineering best practices to craft, refine, and optimize prompts for different tasks and models.
  • •Solid software engineering fundamentals with experience building production-ready systems.
  • •Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset to debug AI behaviors and use datasets to drive improvements; strong English communication required.
