Key Responsibilities

•Lead the legal development and establishment of Wahed’s US private client offering, focusing on Wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, and Islamic legacy planning.
•Advise on state-by-state requirements, licensing, regulatory considerations, and appropriate legal structures for launching estate planning services in the US.
•Draft, review, and maintain client-facing legal documents, templates, precedents, workflows, and guidance notes.
•Ensure services are legally robust and client-friendly for faith-aligned legacy planning for Muslim families.
•Collaborate with leadership across product, compliance, operations, marketing, technology, and customer experience to build a scalable legal service and operating model for iWill and iWaqf.

Key Requirements

•Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in at least one US state.
