Lead the Studio Assistant team to scale Roblox’s agentic AI creation platform used by millions of creators. Own the end-to-end strategy and execution across the Studio user experience and a cloud-native backend architecture, including model orchestration, tool execution, and evaluation frameworks. Drive engineering productivity, manage technical risk, and balance rapid AI exploration with reliable production shipping, while growing and aligning a high-performing AI engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the Studio Assistant team and own the strategy for the agentic AI stack powering creator experiences in Roblox Studio.
•Drive end-to-end execution across user experience and backend infrastructure under a single cloud-native architecture.
•Balance researching emerging AI capabilities with practical, production-ready shipping into the Roblox product.
•Increase engineering productivity by removing obstacles and keeping processes lean while identifying and mitigating technical risk.
•Grow and retain top AI engineering and applied ML talent, leading by example and authoring specs for features and architecture improvements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 345,040 - 399,420 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in large-scale software deployments, including leading large teams (15+) and delivering high-performance solutions.
•Experience building or leading teams that ship AI/ML-powered products in production.
•Hands-on experience defining architectures for agentic AI systems at scale, including model orchestration, tool execution, and evaluation pipelines.
•Deep understanding of AI infrastructure (model serving, reliability, observability) and multi-step execution loops such as planning, tool use, and recovery.
•BS in Computer Science; MS/PhD is a plus.
